Radio interviews with Red Dragon and Real Radio, briefings with key trade media including Transit magazine and interviews with the local press, the South Wales Echo were set up in advance of the launch embargoed to appear on the launch day itself. TV footage with BBC Wales Today was also filmed to act as a ‘teaser' on the Welsh news the night before launch day.
Further TV and press interviews were conducted once the vehicles were in position on Queen Street, including Welsh interviews with key Cardiff Bus personnel including Managing Director, David Brown and Chairman, Steve Pantak.
