St David's Foundation Hospice Care - 30 years of bringing care home

2009-2010 saw the thirtieth anniversary of St David's Foundation Hospice Care, one of Wales' leading hospice charities. Throughout their anniversary year, Good Relations has provided St David's Foundation with strategic media and political relations advice so as to ensure that this thirtieth year was a success for the charity. Good Relations has also positioned St David's Foundation as an example of excellence in providing palliative care. In addition to this, Good Relations has carried out a proactive media relations campaign to highlight key events and dates during the year.

St David's Foundation Hospice Care, which provides free specialist care to more than 2,800 people with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses and their families in the counties of Newport, Monmouthshire, Caerphilly and Torfaen, used the anniversary year to thank all those who have helped make the charity a success. It also highlighted its extensive and innovative fundraising programme to ensure that it was able to continue to provide high levels of care.

Good Relations has a long-established relationship with St David's Foundation and was keen to ensure that 2009-2010 was a good year for the charity and the people who benefit from its services. Following the anniversary year, Good Relations is continuing to provide St David's Foundation with public, media and political relations support.
