Our commitment

Rachel and Sion Climate change is the most significant and urgent consequence of unsustainable living and Good Relations is committed to playing our part in reducing our carbon emissions. We are part of Chime Communications which achieved carbon neutral status on 1 January 2007.

Chime is continuing to minimise environmental impacts from its business operations and those of its suppliers. It considers carbon offsetting as part of a wider impact reduction programme.

Our Chair at Good Relations Wales, Noreen Bray, is heavily involved with Business in the Community (BITC) and its Mayday Network founded by HRH the Prince of Wales. The Mayday Network is the UK's largest movement of businesses committed to taking action on climate change.

The first Mayday Summit was held in 2007 and Noreen has chaired every annual Mayday Summit in Wales since then. Noreen was appointed the Prince's Ambassador in 2007 for responsible business.

Good Relations Wales has also been actively supporting BITC's 'Seeing is Believing'. This was launched in 1990 by the Prince of Wales to engage and inspire business leaders to take action on serious issues facing society.
