Joined Good Relations Wales 16 years ago, having previously worked as a journalist and an NHS manager.
She has advised on strategic public relations during periods of great change for organisations and is experienced in reputation and crisis management and community relations.
Helen is a graduate of St Anne's College, Oxford, where she gained a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. She went on to become an NHS National Management Trainee and subsequently a Hospital Manager. She switched career in 1984 when she gained a Diploma in Journalism Studies, at University College Cardiff and joined a daily newspaper where she worked in a variety of roles, before rising to the post of Deputy News Editor.
She is Chair of Governors at a Cardiff Primary School and an elected member of the Governing Body of the Church in Wales.
