Noreen Bray, Chair,
Good Relations Wales
Born in Cardiff, Noreen Bray joined the BBC as a graduate trainee. For thirteen years she broadcast widely on TV and radio, including regular contributions to BBC Woman's Hour. Prior to joining Good Relations 1989, she was co-presenter of BBC Wales' nightly news programme Wales Today and reporter on the current affairs series Week In Week Out.
Noreen has been a member of Business in the Community's Advisory Board for Wales for over 10 years and is the Prince of Wales Ambassador 2007 for Responsible Business.
She is a current member of the Board of Cardiff & Co. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Bank of Wales plc and the Guardian Media Group's FM Radio Station for South Wales, Real Radio.
Noreen is a former Governor of UWIC, former member of The Prince's Trust Cymru Council, and a former Equal Opportunities Commissioner for Wales (1990-1995). She was awarded an OBE in 1996 for her services to equal opportunities. She is a Fellow of the RSA and the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC).
